How to apply as an international student

Email your documents to CIAC, receive an offer letter, get a student visa, and report to the CIAC office in Room 612 when you arrive.

Step 1: Send your documents to CIAC

Email the following to info@ciac.uiu.ac.bd:

  • Scanned attested copy of your Secondary School Certificate
  • Scanned copy of your passport information page
  • One passport-size photograph
  • For a master's programme: scanned attested copy of your bachelor's transcript
  • For a master's programme: scanned attested copy of your bachelor's certificate

Step 2: Offer letter, visa and travel

  1. CIAC sends you an offer letter by email after the department approves your application.
  2. Apply for a student visa at the nearest Bangladesh embassy. CIAC can help with the application, but you are responsible for getting the visa.
  3. Email your flight ticket to CIAC (info@ciac.uiu.ac.bd) at least two days before you travel.

Step 3: Report to CIAC

Come to the CIAC office in Room 612, UIU Campus. CIAC will guide you through enrolment.
