About CIAC
The Center for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC) was established at United International University (UIU) in June 2019 to bring internationalisation to life at UIU. CIAC gives students, faculty members and staff international exposure, where cross-cultural diversity is nurtured and learning happens on a global scale.
History
With the internet in everyone's hands through smartphones and computers, the world has become a global village. Education is being democratised: anyone can learn anything, any time, from anywhere, so a student needs to perform as a global citizen. UIU established the Center for International Affairs and Cooperation in June 2019 as a separate entity to make internationalisation happen at UIU.
Goal
To enhance the international collaboration of UIU. CIAC acts as a bridge between UIU and renowned institutions around the world.
Mission
To support students and faculty members in international learning, scholarship, teaching and research experiences that shape their global careers.
Vision
To empower students and faculty members with global learning through collaboration with top-ranked foreign universities and research institutions.
